Meredith and Craig: Kurtz Orchards Wedding

Meredith was a bride that from the very beginning was a complete dream.  She loved our work and booked us without even meeting.  Plans came together without a hitch and her wedding design was just breathtaking.  Then came the rain….alot of it.

When planning an outdoor wedding you have to think that there is a small…minuscule possibility of rain.  All outdoor venues have a plan, we as florists have a plan as do the decorators.  Although Meredith’s dream ceremony did not take place under her reception tent,  we alongside Simply Beautiful worked very hard to make it as unforgettable.

In the end her farm wedding at Kurtz Orchards was a dream.  A gorgeous venue in Niagara’s wine country, romantic layered floral, superb decor, amazing food and a warm atmosphere.

A note about Meredith’s gorgeous pictures:  Danijela Photography did an amazing job capturing the warmth of this family.  She made outstanding beauty out of the rain and gave such life to our work through hers.  I am so appreciative to have these beautiful images to share.

 

A word from the bride:

Melanie was a joy to work with. She listened to our ideas and offered lots of different options in varying price ranges that allowed us to get the look we wanted. The ideas we came to her with were executed even more perfectly than we could have imagined on the day of. Despite a very heavy rain which required a plan B she was able to adjust her plans for what was meant to be an outdoor ceremony and create a warm and beautiful chapel environment for us inside our reception tent. She is such a talented individual and we received so many compliments on our centrepieces, bouquets, the boys boutonnieres, and the beautiful garland she made for us… but all compliments go to her. My husband and I very highly recommend her.
